There are so many wonderful zoos in the UK. You can easily visit the ones below in order to have fun as a family or just enjoy everything alone. Obviously, this is definitely a list that is subjective. You need to look at all the others and you may have a different one that is your favorite. ZSL London Zoo
This zoo, the Zoological Society of London, zoo, is one of the best that you can visit and a must check when you visit the capital. You will see that it is a little difficult to reach it but you will always remember the stay. The zoo is much better now than it used to be in the past. The only problem with the zoo is the fact that it is quite expensive. You will need to pay 16 pounds for the child and 20 pounds for the adult visitor. If you visit during summer, there is an attraction that is special and that you have to seriously consider.
Dudley Zoo
There is a ruined castle present in the zoo and various enclosures that are built around the architecture of the thirties. This is a zoo that covers around 40 acres and as time passed, the zoo drastically changed. We are faced with enclosures that are so much more animal friendly and natural. Small mammal exhibits exist here and many farmyard activities can offer hours of fun.
Birmingham National Sealife Centre
Although this is not actually a zoo, it is definitely a location you want to visit. Over 1,000 creatures are visible in the marine wildlife center. You will gain access to a large sea life, including the hammerhead sharks, which are unique in the country. A 4D cinema experience is available here and children will really love the exhibits present. Visitors get to see various animals from octopuses to sharks. Discounts are available for those that buy tickets in advance.
Chester Zoo
This is the biggest of the UK zoos. There are over 7,000 animals that cover around 400 species. When you look at the top zoos from around the world, you will notice that Chester Zoo is always included in the list.
You have enclosures and exhibits that are really well-designed and there are many interesting opportunities that people have to see wildlife shows. You even have access to a dinosaur exhibit. Visitors can see tiger cubs and so many people living in the country believe that this is the best zoo that the UK has to offer.
Bristol Zoo
Bristol Zoo is quite old and is one of the must-visits in the UK if you love animals. It is not at all difficult to visit it from the city and the areas surrounding it. Although we are referring to a zoo that is really small, you do have access to some pretty large animals not present in other zoos. You will get to see many primates, lions, reptiles and bugs. Prices for admission are not high and various promotional discounts are offered from time to time.
Welsh Mountain Zoo
Another great small zoo that covers only 37 acres, Welsh Mountain Zoo offers free minibus services to help you to quickly get to the location. The zoo is definitely small but that does not mean that you will not feel great during your visit. Some of the views there are stunning and during summer months, you will love the birds of prey demonstrations. This is the cheapest of the zoos in the list and if you are in the region, you will not regret the visit.
